Validator
The Validator screen is used to ensure that the device connection complies with pre-configured conditions and criteria. Validator uses highly-configurable checklists to verify that all aspects of the connection - such as technology, network selection, , performance metrics - match planning and expectations (or not). Validator uses an easy to understand PASS/WARN/FAIL notation.
Checklists
Validator uses an ordered list of steps in the form of a checklist.
Many step types are available:
- Connection Validation
- WiFi Validation
- Mobile Validation
- RTT Validation
- Speed Testing
- Miscellaneous
Steps can be added, reordered or removed, and there's no limit to the number of steps in a single checklist, or restriction on the order of steps.
Checklist are automatically shared with all devices of the signed-in user.
PDF Report
Validator can generate a detailed exeution results PDF report, and send it to the signed-in user's email for further analysis and archiving.
For EXPERT users - the PDF includes embedded attachment files such as a EXCEL spreadsheet with the detailed checklist configuration and execution results, or PCAPng of the latest WiFi scan (for checklists with WiFi related steps).
Remote Execution
Validator allows EXPERT users to send checklists for remote execution on other users' devices. When all steps of such a checklist are executed - the user is prompted to approve sending the exeution results PDF to the original checklist sender, thus facilitating easier remote troubleshooting of network connectivity.
