Trace Route Validation Step

The Trace Route step is used to validate the reachability of an IP target host over the connection, how many different routes are available to reach it, and at what hops length.

Step Settings

• Use VPN network (when VPN is active): if enabled, will use the VPN connection (if one is active). Otherwise - will use the the underlying connection
• Route target: IP address or host name
• Number of traces to attempt
• Warn when route length is above X hops
• Fail if route length is above X hops
