Speed Testing Validation Steps

Speed Testing steps can be used to validate the current connection speed.

Step Settings

  • Use VPN network (when VPN is active): if enabled, will use the VPN connection (if one is active). Otherwise - will use the the underlying connection
  • Test target: as specified using analiti's url format (which also selected the speed testing method)

Download speed testing:

  • Test download speed: if enabled, download speed will be tested; note not all testing methods allow to disable download speed testing
  • Test duration
  • Warn if download speed is below X
  • Fail if download speed is below X

Upload speed testing:

  • Test download speed: if enabled, upload speed will be tested; note not all testing methods support upload speed testing, and not all that do support it allow to disable it
  • Test duration
  • Warn if upload speed is below X
  • Fail if upload speed is below X

Additional settings: (note that not all settings are available for all testing methods)

  • Minimum concurrent streams
  • Maximum concurrent streams
