Ping RTT Validation Step

The Ping RTT step is used to validate the reachability of an IP target host over the connection using ICMP ECHO (Ping), as well as provide stats regarding success rates and round-trip times.

Step Settings

  • Use VPN network (when VPN is active): if enabled, will use the VPN connection (if one is active). Otherwise - will use the the underlying connection
  • Target host: IP address or name
  • Number of pings to attempt
  • Interval between pings
  • Warn if ping success is below X%
  • Fail if ping success is below X %
  • Warn if rtt min is above X ms
  • Fail if rtt min is above X ms
  • Warn if rtt median is above X ms
  • Fail if rtt median is above X ms
